 Just a close-up of the jeans I was wearing. Damn, I got the lens cap in the photo...did you notice? I hope I don't get chewed out that the white top part of the denim is over-exposed. All the color is actually washed out more than it is over-exposed.

Well done, Renee, a very respectable finish among the biggest challenge so far. You were right, the lens cap was noticed. Most probably, your score would have been much higher otherwise. That's too bad. The spelling in your title is a bit strange.

Nice closeup. Whatever is in the background that is partially filling up the button hole really clutters and detracts from an otherwise clean shot.

Quality bright punchy shot. Great detailing and colour and focus. Works compositionally too, within that framing. The black plastic thing visible through the button-hole is a shame, but not that terrible. Only does half a job on communicating texture to me though, don't get a real sense of the feel of the denim.

You found a good example of texture that fits the Challenge well. Composition is also very nice and the red background color adds a good deal to this entry.

My wife saw this picture and said WINNER. Excellent shot, should finish on top or at least top 3. Best picture I have seen yet, this one blew mine right out the water. Great Job! 10

Have you tried this with some skin as your background instead?The detail is great but it's so stark. Needs a bit of warmth 7
