I guessed that most of the submissions would be macro, so I went in the other direction and tried to get the feeling of the massive, cold and complex structure of the magnificent Forth Bridge outside Edinburgh.

I love the view point and lines but feel a little overwhelmed

good use of B&W, would have waited for a darker more gloomy sky, but as it stands it brings the bridge out well.

Sorry...I'm not really feeling it.

Fron the Firth of Forth, I assume? (Great name for a body of water!) Has interesting composition. I imagine some will not see this as a "texture" shot. Their loss.

I like your composition and the clarity of the bridge structural work. And it does fit the Challenge. Good work.

Interesting POV and contrast of structures vs background. I don't "feel" the texture of the structure.

I see the texture, but the subject and composition just don't hold my interest.

This is a very attractive study. Though I don't 'feel' the texture in a conventional sense, i see it in a more abstract way in the lattice work.

Gives some impression of the size and complexity of the bridge. Wouldn't say that it communicates texture, exactly - it would need to be less silhouetted for that, to show the steel rather than the outlines of it.
