 first, thank you all very much!
my first ribbon!
inspired by one of "Graphicfunk" photos.

details:
putting Glitter Glue on a pencil, attaching it to a long screw that went through a board with black cloth. turning it while clicking.
a lot of attempts, 3 evenings later...

wicked cool effect w/ the slow shutter speed and lighting. would be nice to see a little more of the hand to portray it as a fan, but can see why it would have been difficult.
