 Who doesn't love a delicious wasabi pea?

I was shopping at Sprouts today (lots of wonderful, cheap produce and bulk foods). As a Sunday treat, I picked up some of these fun peas. They are crunchy and hot - clean out your sinuses. They looked so pretty in their little aqua bowl, I thought I'd share if not the peas, then at least the image.

I have never heard of wasabi peas before. They certainly sound good.

the colors in this are stunning, but i wonder if a square crop would have been better? something seems weird about the bowl being chopped off at the top and bottom?

They look very nice in their aqua bowl! Almost look like you could pick one out of the picture.

Hmmmmmm. . .I wouldn't know if I love them. . .I've never tried such a thing. They are hot and spicy??? I think I might love them.

Note to self: Find some wasabi peas tomorrow at Central Market!

Yumm!! I love wasabi (must have been my 3 years in Japan), but I've never heard of wasabi peas :-) Bet they are yummy, what pretty colors in this image!
