I like the way the shadows in the face bleed into the blackness around him. I don't like the colour and badge on the Tshirt at all. I'd be interested in seeing this both with a black Tshirt and with perhaps a single block colour one, without the badge.

I don't like the orangish light on you in this shot. I like how there is only half a person. 5

My feelings is that negative space must still have some substance, texture, pattern, chaning colors. However, this blackness or lack of space does add to the mood of your subject. good job 9

Excellent light and great framing. Your black is wonderfully solid - looks like a very low ISO and some keen post processing work. Well done. 9 - floyd

Great work This is really great. I love the blue shirt and the soft shadows on his face, really brings out the features. Yes the neg space does impact the subject..it creates an eerie feeling (personally, I'm not sure if I would title it the way you have, but that's me) I'm trying to understand the title...does some kind of transformation happen at midnight? or is it just because it dark. The photography is great. Really nice work 9

Cool! Very evocative and scary. I love how you used the space here to create tension, fear, something unknown. 10 - lisae
