Sounds like there's a general "grass phobia" going on in the comments here! LOL
Next time you go to take a shot.....take your lawn mower with you, will ya? (evil grin)
Actually, I really think this is a really, really nice shot! It gives us the perspective of being IN the grass with the girls. I really like the rather "impromptu" sort of gathering here. It's just what a group of girls that age would do.....gather in bunches, lay in the grass and be silly! Good shot! Should have done MUCH better than it did....but, I guess "grass phobias" win out! ;) |

| The blade of grass over the face of the girl on the left is pretty distracting, but other than that I love the mood and the angle. Deserved much better than what it got :) |

| Too much foreground and out of focus foreground is distracting. Cropping would make a much stronger image. |

| IMO a slight tighter crop on the bottom and a bit motre room in the top would make this photo look better. |

| The groundlevel angle here really helps. As much as I am liking the colours here (nothing too pretentious) I would like to of seen this with a bit more contrast, thus meulating those early day colours shots from the late 60s, early 70s. would of really taken this shot back a few years.. overall a strong entry and I reckon it should finish well.. 7 |

| Personally, I just don't like this angle for a group picture. If it were a little higher, the girl inthe middle would be more visible and the girl on the right wouldn't have the top of her head cut off. Good focus though. |

| oof grass in front greatly detracts from the photo. Nice to get a creative angle but the oof foreground ruins the effect. |

| Nice thematic shot, although the very fashionable sunglasses do not fit in, but that's just a detail. Too bad there are some blown whites here and there in the pic, but otherwise fine. (7) |

| umm, the grass in the front distracts, and personally i feel the head of the girl at the right side of the frame should not have been cropped |
