| Many a year I spent surfing on the North Cornwall coast in all sorts of weather. Usually the best surf was in bad weather. I remember the ice cream headaches from plunging ones head through waves in the winter and walking along frosty beaches to get to the waves. Your photo brings back great memories.... and it is a nice shot too. |

| I am afraid the picture lacks a clear focus (both in sharpness and in composition), and I think in the case of a portrait, the focus should be on the person(s) portrayed. Colours are a bit dull. (4) |

| Great shot, although my eye can get away from the seagull in the center of the picture. I think it would have worked better even more having waited a few seconds to get the bird more to the side or out of the picture |

| Nice scene. too bad the bird is partially blocking the boy like that, but animals tend to not want to pose... |
