It's a pain to shoot reflective surfaces and not get yourself in the shot. :) I just read the other day to point the lens through a hole in a large panel of cloth (black or white, depending on the reflection you're looking for) to disguise the camera and surroundings - I offer that tip to you, should you find it useful, although I haven't made use of it myself, yet, to know how well it works. I like the simple directness of the shot, and the focus, although I had assumed it was at a wider aperture. I'm surprised that at f/8 you didn't get more of the rim of the lens in focus. I like how you focused it, as I said, I just assumed it was at a different aperture. |

This is interesting, and the reflection has some pretty colors. I think a strong color background would beef this up. |
