I see by the spots that this fellow is either a Chow or, like my Red Fred who's lying here by my side, has Chow in him. I don't find this "gross" at all (last comment) but rather an exceptional capture. I don't know how you managed to not only catch the treat in mid air but to get such an extraordinarily sharp shot with a digital camera. Amazing. I need to upgrade to an SLR and I will certainly be checking out the Nikon D80 if this is any example of what it can do in the right hands. Fantastic! |

Nice capture, lighting, composition - really, really bad subject. They greyed out eyes (animal red eye?), major view of the tongue, and unidentifiable orange/brown item in the jaw (hot dog slice?) is repulsive. Worse, I am torn between feeling scared or just being grossed out by this. But your technique is so good... can I give two different scores? |
