Congrats on 10th!!!
Apologies for not finishing my comments...As I read a few of the other comments, I too wondered what it looked like horizontal - just curious. As it is, I definately think that the neg space really brings out the subject - makes a statement. I love the angle, makes it seem as if there is no trail. I like the colors as well. Great job!

I know you probably couldn't controll it but I think a complimentary color, like purple,blue or green on the bike and rider would have made this a 10 for me. As it is you only get a 9. : )

The inclusion of the grassy land above and below and infront really make this shot by placing the biker so effectively in the environment. The grass works both as an abstract background and as a specific location. The colours and light are good.

| One of my favorites this week - excellent use of negative space to add Wow to the main image. Wonderful texture and tone in the neg space, interesting colors in the positive - orange, brown, black, green, white, red. Great job! |

| I like the feel of this photo. It gives me a feeling that this cyclist is really all alone out there. It may be just my imagination but the front tire seems to be plowing down the tall grass in front of it as it speeds along. |

| One of the best examples of negative space I have seen. I love the way the colors of the bicyclist stand out against the brown grasses. I can feel the struggle of his/her journey. Excellent picture. A 10 from me. |
