 Our 500 is out for maintenance, so we are currently being supported by a Eurocopter AS350 A-Star helicopter. Cool.


Legal in basic, just converted from RAW in Lightroom. Im going fishing in this bad boy in half an hour so I dont have time for a better edit before rollover.

I think Ken got it right with this statement. It IS a wonderful capture. A little bit of a reach for a 'Wings' challenge probably.

It's too bad that the "wings" part of the helicopter are blurred... understandable though as they move super fast.

Technically, a helicopter has rotors or blades -- no wings...

Try a slower shutter next time and it won't look as though the helicopter is suspended by a wire. Great aviation photos always have the props/rotors blurred and your's are, but they could be blurred more, especially the tail rotor. It spins very fast.
