Errrrr, congratulations? ... maybe?

Actually it is quite hard to catch these great birds of prey

I can't see the crow. But technically this falls short. It's very noisy (ISO noise?) and out of focus, and there's a noticeable halo around the bird.

Bad dodge job
08/26/2007 09:18:30 AM
...erm where's the osprey ? Would loved to have seen the two together.
08/26/2007 08:11:53 AM
good positioning of the osprey but the sky noise and the halo around the bird really detract - some noise reduction such as noise ninja or neat image could clearly help out here

There's a lot of noise in this - I suspect it was cropped from a larger pic? Also, the halo around the bird points to oversharpening. Did you try converting to blk/wht - it might have made the noise look more like film grain.

Very noisy.

Unfortunately this image has a lot of noise and the focus and clarity are not good at all. A very difficult shot to try and capture and well done for trying.

Yes if you say so - but I really can't tell from this picture...

The weird edit, crop, processing are kind of fascinating. The duality of title and singularity of subject make a neat tension, but, of course, the lack of perceived 'quality' will hurt your score. Refreshingly different, at he very least, and quite possibly more ...

Sorry, but I am missing the crow...Sharpening issue? :/
08/21/2007 03:04:51 PM
For me, if your iamge was more in focus and we saw both birds instead of just the one, I would have scored it higher.
08/21/2007 02:55:36 PM
Nice bird. Seems a little fuzzy and grainy.
08/21/2007 12:09:30 PM
too much noise, one of the birds you allude to in your title is missing and the other is nealry out of frame.

Sorry to be so nasty.
08/21/2007 06:53:43 AM
too much grain here and the bird is out of focus
08/20/2007 08:53:36 PM
Hmmm....It's out of focus and high in noise.
08/20/2007 02:17:37 PM
A little grainy, neat idea though.
08/20/2007 02:17:13 PM
Don't see the crow...
08/20/2007 09:03:51 AM
Good idea, but photo needs to be captured from a little closer, or with a longer lens. Can't really make out the action described in the title.
08/20/2007 07:16:02 AM
The noise is pretty distracting, unfortunately.
08/20/2007 04:35:14 AM
this is such poor quality...crow? osprey? you tell me what it is 'cause I can't see.
08/20/2007 04:00:12 AM
too grainy, unnatural and over proccessed to me.
08/19/2007 10:55:24 PM
I only see one bird so I have to give a low score here.
08/19/2007 09:55:36 PM
Too little focus and detail, too much halo and noise. You may want to try noise ninja or neat image.
08/19/2007 08:10:58 PM
totally blurry and out of focus...too much noise as well...sorry
