| I'm not sure that many will realize that Arthur's Seat is "located in a city" or that this meets the challenge description quite literally. However, without the title there is little or nothing urban about the shot. For me, you met the technical description but you missed the spirit of the challenge. |

Hmm...tough call on this. Arthur's Seat, from my recollection is just outside of Edinburgh so its more rural than urban. (Now if you were take the shot from the walls of Edinburgh Castle that would be different)
That aside, I love the sky and the silhouette you captured here. The clouds take your eye throughout the frame quite nicely. The silhouette leads the eye to the travellers in the corner just quietly but effectively tucked away. |
