Yet another technically fine image that falls well short of great due to lacking creativity. Perhaps that are other areas for you to shoot outside of this refuge? |

This photo makes my heart hurt the more I look at it (in a good way). I live for my trips to the mountains where the elk are everywhere. If I weren't going back in 8 days (yayyy), this photo would make me so homesick for my mountains it would be hard to look at :)
Mega congratulations! This was my favorite #1 pick for this challenge!

I don't understand how people say this isn't rural! Living in the country, I remember many a breakfast where I sat on the front porch and saw scenes like this. This was my 10 and is an amazing capture! Beautifully done and definitely deserves the ribbon you earned. |

FWIW, I didn't vote this challenge - just making an observation. :) Beautiful photograph! |

Richmond Park? I can't quite make up my mind whether this counts as a rural landscape in my own personal classification system. That, though, is quite irrelevant, as it is an amazingly beautiful and evocative photograph that goes straight in to my favourites. |

Great silouettes of the deer against the fog bank. It looks like you converted to sepia. That's fine, but I'd just like to see what it looks like in full color with saturated grass and sky. 8 |
