 I wonder if anyone will think its a meteor in the sky? :P
Shot 5 minutes from my girlfriend's house in Oakland.
I tried CS2 16-32-16 bit tonemapping, shadows/highlights, selective color, crop and curves and a replace color adjustment.

I was trying to find that right time of twilight where ambient and natural light were equivalent. I wanted to head into SF for this challenge but I never made it. I like this, I came across this place for the symmetry and was just waiting for a time to use it, the branch was already there.
Post Challenge:Thanks for all the great comments and votes. For those who didn't like the airplane trail, I liked it to give it a feel of the the neighborhood.

The opposition of nature, and great human buildings is a classic! but it works very well in your shot!
even the shadow/highligh touch up can hardly be seen

juxtaposition strikes me as odd. I like each part of this image indiviually, but together...um, not so much. Nice airplane trail(?) you captured along the top of the building there!

great title...I think a levels adjustment would have deepened the colour and contrast a little and added some real punch, but I do like this 8
