 Wow I can't believe this got the blue! I always loved making parachutes for my toys and my boys love it too, so that is what I wanted to shoot. I originally wanted white puffy clouds and have my son tossing up the toy soldier with the parachute, but that didn't work out. I had a great sunset the last day of the challenge so I went with this. My shots with Samuel didn't turn out too well...this is one of them:

I never could get what I wanted so I had this idea to put some support wire in the parachute and dangle it over something with fishing line...You can see it in this unedited version:

The red sunset was boosted by shooting in RAW and setting the white balance to 33000 and +18. Here are some other outtakes:

i wonder WHO rated this pic with a 1 and a 2, and even a 3!!! and of course, they never add comments explaining WHY they rate them so low... enviousness??

With a newborn baby at home my time is very limited so although I looked at all the photos I'm only voting for 1 in this challenge. You got my vote! Excelent shot! Very fitting and unique. If I had a gripe it would be with the title not the photo. It's not a bad title but it's not a great one in my humble opinion. Good luck!
