 I really didn't have any idea of what to do for this challenge - this was just made up at the last minute. I probably took 50 different block pictures - driving myself and my wife crazy in the process (thanks honey!). It was pretty tricky setting this up. I'm still not completely satisfied with the alignment and I wish the Y & S both weren't the same color.

Anyway, I shot this on top of my daughter's toy box. This was solely lit by a dim tungsten light on the ceiling. I had to use a tripod because the lighting was so low. You can't see it but my daughter had scribbled all over this toy box with a black pen. Fortunately I was able to overexpose the white enough that you can't see it.

GREAT composition! I love your take on this challenge, very creative. I love the fact that you not only photographed a child's toy, but you also put them to use in the very way they were intended to be used, as a learning tool for spelling and learning visuals! Keep up that creativeness!
