 Utilized numerous curves and levels adjustment layers to a) tweak the saturation and hue of the sky and b) get the underexposed underbellies of the airplanes to match in color detail. Other various adjustments including some Neat Image to achieve the final result.

This was my first time to the big Airventure Show at Oshkosh. Thanks to kirbic for the invite. I shot over 1,200 shots that day!

I love Aviation photos! I imagine your photo will do much better then I think because of the smoke that I think the voters will go for. However, for an Aviation photo which I am very critical of, I honestly don't think it's a very good photo. They're either too far away or you've cropped them out of a much larger photo. Part of it is that I can see this photo having more going for it then I can see.

Very nice capture. I hope you weren't affected by the crash. That is a shame to see tow P-51s go down. This capture is nice with blurred props, good formation, nice blue sky. Man, what more can a photog ask for. Knowing the difficulty of all of this to put it together into a nice shot like this I have to say 10! A 10!

This cool to see. I'll probably never get to Oshkosh to see this. Every year some of the planes that perform in this show stay in Dubuque Iowa for a week prior pacticing for the show. We kinda get our own private little show before the show.
