 This photograph was taken in my studio photography class. Temide was our model for the day, I experimented with various lighting techniques. The black skin of the model is a perfect canvass to paint on with white light. I like how the light accentuated Temide's skin texture.
Very little post-processing done, just bumped up contrast and saturation a bit, resized, USM, saved.

This is my first attempt to work in a studio environment, I am not sure how the DPC voters will like it. As long as I get an average vote above 5.0 I will be happy.

nice lighting, but his eye is not very appealing to me. maybe if he were looikng up or even just straight ahead, or even with his eye closed all the way...

The lighting is good it's just not saying 'Wow' to me especially for 'Free Study'.

Great light, great color. Nicely done. I'm glad you weren't tempted to convert to black & white (maybe you were...but you resisted).
