Neat photo -- so grainy, it's almost as if you used the old Pentax to take it! I'm unfamiliar with this camera but I remember the old cartridge film. Funny how something so "modern" (I'm dating myself) is now obsolete.
How much did they want for this camera? As you indicated, it would be impossible to get film, wouldn't it? Probably best to admire from afar. :-)

Who would have thought that a small camera like this could be like an SLR. Cool story! |

Great processing of this shot, it looks like a vintage shot and matches the vintage camera :-)
Fuji still makes 110 cartridges; you can order online here:

Buy the camera! |

I was working in a camera shop in the mid 70's when this camera came out. The Pentax rep. passed out a bunch of these to the employees to try. It was a really neat little camera. It took very nice shots, if a bit grainy due to the film size. I even took some great night shots with it. |

Even if the pictures aren't great, it sure is cool looking. Did they think you were crazy taking a picture of a camera? |

Absolutely you must buy it. And then send it to me.
This is a great find. Jack is right. The old Pentax glass is great stuff, although I've never seen this model. I bet it takes pretty good pics. And just to show a few images taken from this little gem would be fun.
I'm definitely jealous.

Hey now it's a Pentax, the images would be very good! No kidding the old Pentax cameras and lens are very high quality! this is very cool! Yeah, you won't be blowing up any 16x20 prints with this one but for a fun bit of history I would buy it...but then I got my first Pentax camera in 1977, (an MX 35mm) I might be a bit biased...and as for film at least here in the States you can still buy 110 film...Great find!! |

It's in South Africa, so the value may be very different to what it is anywhere else. It didn't sound a lot to me, though there is slight damage to the edge of one lens (not the glass though) and the lens cap is missing. But I'm seriously considering it anyway. |
