I wanted a point of view that no one's ever seen before; I doubt anyone's ever disassembled a cell phone to look trough the LCD monitor. Well, I didn't either. I basically reproduced a fictitious cell phone diplay on my computer. First, I printed it on a transparency but realized I could't make the pixels glow to give that LCD feeling everybody loves. So I decided to use multiple exposure by first taking a shot of the display on my LCD monitor, which gave it a nice glow. Then I photographed my sister's ear right after(she hasn't worn earings in years). That's it!

Then: colorbalance, contrast enhancement, noise reduction, crop.

Sweet editing.

very creative and very well done! I would like to know how you got the reverse cell phone image.

Not sure why you would have the lettering backwards as this is quite distracting. Pretty neat image though. Can't wait to find out how it was done.

Good stuff

Awesome great shot. I love the idea, composition, even the grid is lovely. Only drawback is the long title really. 'Big brother' alone would have been better I think.

Great take on the point of view challenge, would love to know how it was done.

Awesome. You don't need to be so dramatic on the title. This is a great POV.

It feels like I'm in the mobile phone eavesdropping on the conversation between Anna and her friend (?). All the little squares bring interest to this photo, just like the contrast between the warm natural colours of the ear and the cold digital colour of the phone. (7)

if you're creative enough to have people question the validity of your photo, that's a great sign.

OK how did you do this one??

Creative POV and clever title.

The picture is great, but the Title ruins it. Why do you need an entire sentence as the title, instead of just "Big Brother", or "Somebody is Listening"? Again, the picture is really cool, good job on that.

Very clever shot, making it look like its from inside a phone. 10

Really cool shot. Earring seems out of place though. Good idea.

A great idea and interesting image. I really like the angle this has been shot at. The Ear-ring is slightly distracting, but apart from that, a nice entry. good luck!

A really nice shot here, not sure of the significance of the reflection of the ear, but it kind of contrasts to the new technology of the mobile phone (?)... 9
