| Really doesn't look like the subject is moving. Even the water directly around his feet is pretty still. The water farther out is what I see movement in, and the water isn't very interesting at all. It's actually a distraction from the bird and crab. The lighting is nice on the subject. And I think that the angle is good. Focus and clarity are also nice. Just wish there were a bit more movement of the bird and crab. I guess I could assume the crab is wiggling, but since I've never seen this in person, I wouldn't know if that actually happens. ~Heather~ |

This must have been a very hard picture to capture and would have to be taken from quite a distance away.

| This is my favorite of all the bird shots in this challenge. I'm very impressed you managed to get a shot with that whatever-it-is in it's beak. Clean composition with a lot of detail as well. Nice work. |

| A tad soft but not distractingly so as it sets a nice mood. A little blown out on the left part of the body, but otherwise excellent lighting. Great capture of action with the water droplets and the meal without introducing any blur. Good composition, I like the addition of the rock with the shell. Although now that I look at it longer I wonder if there was too much (if any) burning on the neck to avoid overexposure. |
