I'm sure you're getting killed for the compression artifacts, but this is a better example of negative space than most of the photos here. 7

It would help if we had some idea of the subject matter. A little focous here would do wonders. Is this in the wrong challenge by any chance? Could you ahve been looking for the macro? If so I would guess that it is a wire rope connection with a burndy connecter and by the looks of it you have done what is commomnly refered to as saddling a dead horse. Or in other words put the burndy on the wrong way. You always put the saddle (the part you tighted the bolts on) on the live wire.

The border is detracting, the shot is oof, there is no bg to speak of that would add any wow to it. Did you take this with a cell phone? What is it?

I'm unclear as to what I am looking at here. I suggest better focus & loose the frame. It's not helping the composition.

OK, here goes... The border is distracting, the subject is kind of...unknown, the capture is blurry, the lighting is off and the title is confusing. I don't know if this is really a serious entry.

I don't get it? what is it and where is the negative space??? the frame is far too much, and I have no idea what this picture is supposed to be. Seems to be taken with a camera phone or something.

Did you take this with a cell phone? What is it? This is too pixelized and unrecogizable and whatever it is seems to fill the frame leaving no real negative space so its DNMC

ok..Well, this is really too small..it is fuzzy, out of focus. I am really not sure what, if anything is your subject here.

ok this has got to be one of those "going for the brown" shots right? OOF and unsure what the object is or how it relates to the title and the border is garish in relation to the colors of the shot. /3
