| I am so sorry this was DQ'd. It is an exceptional photo. Such great texture. Such great leading lines. I would love to see more work like this from you. It shows you have a real talent. I gave it a 10 in the voting FWIW. |

So many images I have that are perfect for new contest but taken days before and not able to submit. Hopefully they will put out open category no dates involed so we can show what we think are our best works so far. Nice image. psart.

Congrats on the almost-ribbon on your first entry! I suffered from the same start (although it was 100 years ago when it was a lot easier to do well here).
edit: congrats on your RIBBON :) You can almost only go down from here but we hope you stick around.

| Lovely. Wonderful textures. Nice leading line formed by the mist. It's a little dark on my calibrated monitor ... you may lose points for that, or fail to attract voters who just vote the thumbs. But top marks from me! Best in show. |
