What a great way to highlight the other side of painting with light... playing with shadows... love the multiplicity in the characteristics of the shadows here. some are soft, others are hard... very interesting to the eye.

Very beautiful photo. I feel a stronger composition would have been with space to the left and no space to the right of the vase. But then you would loose the marks on the wall that suggest the light was in fact painted onto the flower. Nice focus. 6

Very pretty, I love how the flower stands out with the lighting. The background compliments the subject very well. Focus and clarity are great. I love how it's dark but for the flower. Makes it stand out wonderfully. There is nothing about this photo that I don't like. Excellent job.

lovely photograph but i would have liked to see it cropped closer to the flower as to cut out the vase, thats just my opinion though, 7
