 Used a small LED flashlight for the lighting. It was quite interesting using a tiny light source for a change.
I photographed these two beautiful lilies for the Double Take challenge too, but they got the full flash treatment with an SB 800 and a small slave flash (I don’t use flowers all that often, so I hope you don’t mind two in a row ;-).

I very rarely disagree with a photo's final vote, but this image deserved a much higher score, IMO. Absolutely gorgeous photo, Irene.

33! Far better than I had hoped for this stunning entry - I honestly thought it was too subtle for our fair DPC voters and all the squiggly line entries.

I still nominate it for best of year. :-)

this is just stunning. Not only the best in this challenge - but the best I've seen in a long time. This is what light painting is all about. Beautiful subtlety - truly what I was going for with mine but executed flawlessly here.
