 Gelato Spot, taken from Hava Java coffee place.

The white stuff you see out the back window - that's mist from the misters. If you don't live in the desert, misters mist water into the air to cool it off so we can sit outside at 110 F and still be pleasantly cool due to the evaporation factor.

The frame on the left (because I know that someone is going to take issue with that)... I cropped it out, but the photo looked stupid. With the door frame, it seems more like I'm looking into the room from another room - which was in fact the case.

This will be my last photo in the BW series. It's been a blast! You are all awesome people and awesome artists.

excellent alicia .. came to see wot had been going on in the b&w coz i havent been there for a while, and scrolled down the first page which is HUGE .. found this great shot of yours .. i can imagine you getting a PB in the candid challenge, if you enter anything as good as this, or some of those other cafe shots .. GOOD LUCK !!.. ..
my double take is going heaps good, its getting 5.2 or something and my free study is going even better at 5.1 !!!! .. lol lol ... i havent looked for a while coz they're not going anywhere .. thinking positive tho, when i do get a really good score i'll be ecstatic ... :):)xxx

Wonderful real world moment pic. I actually like the misters in the background creates a very nice light pattern.

Nice capture and good accompanying notes. It's nice to know what we're looking at. 8)

My suggestion would be to crop out the chair back in the lower right. IMNSHO, it's taking up too much space and doesn't add anything to the picture.

Let me be the first to say congratulations on completing the challenge. It has been a real pleasure seeing your images and getting your comments. I'm really glad that you ended up with one of your candid cafe shots, whenever I think of you I think of goats and cafes (and definitely NOT DPL!!! Grrrrr)

Best news is of all your cafe shots I think this is my favourite, really ricj drak tones in the cafe which are set off to perfection by the sunlight falling on the customers face
