I enjoy this photo very much and find it to be very "complete". It encompasses and captures a familiar slice of life and between all the expressions and faces there is a lot to look into. |

I think this does seem a bit crowded and busy, but that's what these places are like, and that's why this is such a good shot! Excellent contrast in this shot to emphasize the starkness of places like this, where they shoehorn in a ton of bric a brac in the hopes of making it feel homey (I think that's why they do it); almost as if your eyes fell on pure space you might get up and leave without paying! Nicely shot to capture that feel. |

these candid shots are really awesome - keep them coming! this looks like a really neat little bistro type place and the lighting and feel of the photo really makes it inviting |

Yup like this a lot without the offending lady in it (who had a very scary expression on her face)
Love slice of life shot. Lots going on but it doesnt feel too crowded meaning you can appreciate the whole image and then various bits of it
As has been said, hats of for taking this candid photo in such a public place |

Love interior shots in black and white. Background is very well detailed, but I think a closer focus on the couple, or even a zoom on the tea glasses would make it even better. |

Tee hee. This is really a cool photo. There's such ambiance and mood here. I love it! But I think its so funny the way those poor diners look so. . .so. . .well. . .just not too happy. Usually when I'm out to eat with my hubby, we're chatting away and solving the world's problems, but they just look like maybe they'd just as soon be doing something else, huh? I really like the Americana red checkered table cloth too :)
