from a fellow North Carolinian and neighbor of Davie County, you should have done much better. great shot.

I like the grainy quality of the sky - would like the barns sharper. All around, nicely done

Not a fan of the border here, but I like the shot a lot!

I like the grain you've included, but I find the composition and placement of the structures to be odd. I think you could have also cropped about an inch and a half off the top as the sky has no interesting detail. Would have also liked to have seen this in landscape format.

Contrast is really good. Love seeing rural landscapes. I like the sloping angle of the foreground.

Framing is a bit too large for the composition. Cropping the top portion of the shot would give a more intimate feeling to the picture.

This is a beautiful shot, I am confused to the noise in this shot, was reluctent whether it is noise or if it is snowing Good shot.

The grainyness works really well for this shot - I feel like I am looking at a photo from the 30's. nice composition as well = 7

I like the noise and the B&W. You really don't need the huge border though, as it does nothing for the photo.

Great subject and well composed, but I'm not sure about the grainy texture. 6

Your photo appears fairly pixelated on my monitor, though not unappealing so. Kind of gives the shot a grainy "old" feel that is in keeping with the subject. Choice of black and white is perfect for this scene.

nice b&w ... I think the noise gives a feeling of age to this photo. nicely done!

Nice subject, but the grain ruins it...

bit too nosiy for my tastes, compostion is excellent.

Beautiful use of black and white and an old fashioned grainy looking style. I know you'll get a lot of comments about cropping off some of the top, but I think I really like it... gives it that distant feeling that puts it kind of in the past, I like the free space.

I like the copmposition but find the picture to be but too grainy. I guess you used a very high ISO. Perhaps run it through NeatImage to clean it up.

Nice shot. The soft focus is great. I would probably crop out about 1/2 of the sky. Good job.

Nice Photo. Good job on the framimg.

Too grainy and too much free space for my taste.

Excellent. I like the grain use here.

Well done.

The ice makes this look like an antique or vintage photo. Good capture. I think this would also look good if you cropped it into a landscape format.

Would have been better in Landscape orientation with less sky which would enhance the barn and more closely illustrate the photographer\'s intent

The extra noise works well with this shot, gives a classic historic feel, black and white is nice also. Only fault I would mention is that I feel that the border may be a little to thick, otherwise very nicely done. 8

Nice composition, cool shot! Nice job 'aging' the photo - I assume you added the grain effect to it?

Beautiful composition, I love the noise introduced in this photo. The tilt at the bottom doesn't really bother me. I would have preferred the subjects to be bigger and crop the top which no detail can be seen anyway.

This is a wonderful shot. I think there might be a bit too much empty space at the top, but the composition is perfect otherwise. There are not many photos that I enjoy that are noisy like this, but for this shot it is just perfect!

This looks cold. Beautiful black/white. The grain gives this an aged feel.
