Great Job Brin - Fabulous image - Congrats on the Red Ribbon - clearly an inspired work both technically and from a challenge perspective.
What I find amazing is how seven voters could rate this as a 3 or lower...but I don't think we will ever understand some voting patterns.
If we could get into their heads to hear what they are thinking, maybe something like this ..."Let me see...yes..it has a church and a priest/pastor...it is well photographed...sharp, well illuminated, well composed...it appears to be consistent with the challenge...and it is nice to look at....hmmm...I guess I should give it a 2" |

In fact it was a "mistake" that I used iso400, I was taking photos inside the church before I took this one and because I was in a hurry I forgot to change it when I started to shoot outside. Thanks for your comment Ryan.

would be better if i could see his face, having te back turned towards the viewers is not very falttering in photography.. unless of course if the person is really hot and half naked which does not seem to be the case here ;-) |

very nice image, alot of drama in the sky, the red roof really pops. Does no one go to church in Iceland? The curches are all so small. Overall this is a great image with great composition and sharpness |

Beautiful church and beautiful shot. One of the best I have seen. The whisps in the clounds above where the priest is gives an indication of a holy aurora. Excellent |

The very simple nature of this photo makes it very appealing. I like how the red of the church stands out against the otherwise drab colors. |

Very neat capture and interesting viewing angle which gives the church that hollywood cut-out look. Of course, the image gains in momentum with the walking holy figure, the divine foreground and background. Love it. Bump. |
