 This is Ally, my friend Gina & Mike's daughter. The rosary she's holding is her Dad's, who was in the LAPD for years. Mike said that this rosary was always in his bullet proof vest and kept him safe through the years.

I actually did it! It's my first ribbon ( I hope it's not the last!) so this is really sweet.

Before anything, thanks to my Trigger Happy Teammates! This probably never would have happened if not for their feedback and support. I could not be any happier with the DPC Team that I joined.

Thanks for all the great comments -- they have all been very helpful! The comments I have received not just in this challenge but also in others make me push myself to be better. So thanks again to all the commenters! I will do a better job myself leaving comments to others because they really do help novices like me.

Lastly, I want to thank the academy for this honor... you like me! You really really like me! Oops, sorry I got carried away....

Congrats, Christian! ...now if I recall, it was I who recommended you for my replacement on Team TriggerHappy. I knew you were a ringer. Disregard the rumors that the other members of the team paid me to quit so they could scoop you up. :)

This is excellent composition, especially her left eye. The focal plane on the eyes combined with great reflective lighting, really make this one come 'alive'! Well done!
