Well done - I did something similar in an SP (this is much better than mine). Great tones, composition, and emotion. |

I think they are particularly brutal in voting in free studies. If this photo were submitted to a typical member challenge, if it was "in your face" on topic (like unfortunately the voters demand) I think it would score in the high 6's.
It is fabulous! It reminds me a little of Joey Lawrence's work.

haha, ya it is just blurry from my crappy kit lens. I know the effect you are talking about though. It is sort of a weird haze or something across it. I hope to one day have some better gear. The print looks great however! Sharp and clear. I am blowing it up huge next time.

Excellent, my only very slight niggle is the dominance of the sole of her shoe ;) |

Cool photo, looks like her door is a dead end though. I like how you are on the ground level with her. Great shot. 9 |

Nice photo, reminds me of a struggling musician. Maybe an addition of a guitar? |

I like the natural framing of the bricked in doorway. Her blue jeans have a nice POP yet they complement the steel blue of the cement blocks. This has a certain emotive quality to it as well. |

Personally I find her expression not too interesting, especially with the title. I feel having her looking out of the frame to the L may have helped balance the picture, as it is all I look at is her face and then her hand. Obviously depends on your story of course. Technically seems fine
