Wow, great macro, love the detail on the stamen, where you can even see the filament hairs. Excellent tonal range, especially considering that the light coming the the top leaf of the main flower could easily have appeared blown out if not treated correctly
Very nice job |

i'm not that into flowers either, but hey I LOVE THIS ONE!! .. love the shadows and the dof ... especially love the way that flower is sort'v drooping down on the rhs .. it could almost be a monster with large ears lurking behind that flower in the front!!!:) .. bang in a couple of eyes where the petals form that dark area and hey presto!! ... love the contrast created by the detail in the stamens?? in the foreground flower ..
MY LENS ARRIVED YESTERDAY!!! ... computer guy scott was over fixing a few problems with our computers .. he was here for 6 hours .. i'd just got the four elements shot done when he arrived .. quickest shoot and process in my entire history .. the score is certainly showing me that quick is not the best approach for me!!! .. anyway .. scott and i played around with my new lens which came when he was here .. the difference between my tamron and my new canon is astounding .. i will be grainy no more!!! ...
i know this isnt the place to write all this stuff, but its easier to say a couple of things unrelated to your image in here, than send email right now .. cramps, insomnia, pain .. i'm sure you understand :):):)xxxxx

It's amazing to see such great texture on the petals of the flowers. Very pretty and realistic looking. |

Well you did a great job because this black and white version is very pretty. Everyone has to have -- and show off -- their best flower photo. It's just not right not to :) This is a good one!
