| Couldn`t vote on this at the time as I wasn`t a member, but the detail and colour are both striking, an excellent image and one I would have rated highly. |

| Nice shot. We so often focus on the holiday flower we don't notice the interesting patterns and textures in the leaves. Good composition here; the diagonal lines add excitement. The lighting shows off the texture; a little sharpening would bring it out even more. |

| Good choice of background to bring out the red in the leaf. Nice use of the diagonal vein lines and leaf edge to strengthen composition. |
