Greetings from the Critique club
Very nice shot! Excellent composition, colours and lighting.

There is a little noise showing to the upper right. Without that I think it would have been a perfect 10.

A little fill light, very little, you don't want to blow out any of the other colours could probably correct that.

I wouldn't want any more light anywhere else because the rest is quite nice.

Great work.

I love this picture.

I love the grain and texture of fruit. I love the position, and the fact that this almost looks like a painting. Your composition is great, and you have made the fruit really work. Original to say the least. 10.

Clever and very beautiful! I think it's almost perfect, but it needs a bit of noise reduction and maybe just a touch of front fill light on the seeds (dark spots)

I'm not a big border fan. This is a border that works. I like everything about this picture, the focus the lighting, the exposure. The kiwi seems to glow with a light of it's own. I would love to have a stained glass window just like this. This is art!
10!

I had the idea of doing shot like this, and have been wanting to do one for a while. It was ashamed that I did not have a Kiwi fruits of the last day of the challenge which is when I took my picture.

I like your composition, and the way that the outer parts of the Kiwi fruit and the seeds take a ride towards the middle. Personally I would have run the picture through Neatimage in order to get rid of some of the noise, and I would have used a slightly small border.

Overall a good shot, good luck in the challenge.

this feels over-processed to me and the black border detracts a lot

I can taste it. 10 Morgan

Kiwi? Nice capture and surreal feeling to it. Great for a kitchen. The colors (must be the fruit) appear just a bit "muddy."

Wow! so close. I love the neon green. Well-composed but maybe needs to be a little sharper.

I never get tired of shots liek this. Good stuff. The border is a bit too much & draws too much attention away from the shot.

Title works well. Love the backlite effect, makes for great color. Well composed. Nicely done! (I personally would have reduced the size of the border a pinch).

Wow! It's like looking at a Monet - the texture is wonderful - makes it all more abstract. The colours are so vibrant. And of course the composition is excellent - the square crop and cornered design work so well. Love it!

Very interesting, I like the idea and the way the fruit is lighted up from behind but for some reason I'm thinking this could be just a tad sharper, not completely sharp but just a tad. And the heavy black border really detracts from the overall shot. A 7

Nice try. Your colors are pretty good and the lighting is nice. I do think the noise is a distraction along with the lack of tack sharp focus. Good luck in the challenge.

Sorry but this looks like a painting, not a photo?

Decent capture, but this has been done so many times. Too many. Ifind the border too heavy fot the shot.

This is a brilliant shot, a great macro choice, good colours.

The only gripe here is your border. I think it's far too thick...
