Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Train...

This is a lovely flower... I think there are several opportunities to improve the shot though... The background/surface color doesn't provide any particularly strong contrast or support for the flower and its colors. The composition here seems a bit odd to me as well. It's a tight crop on the left and right. I would have considered cropping even tighter or including the whole flower rather than clipping the very tips of the petals.

Keep up the good work :)

I like this shot, but I think I would like to see all the petals, I wouldn't have cropped them.

Stunning. Beautiful subject nicely captured. Great detail in the middle with nicely soft petals.

Very pretty flower, detail, focus, and backlighting. Why the choice of this crop, though?

lighting is unusual, separates this from most flower macros

Wow

Love the soft backlight and the center colors. Maybe crop a bit closer ?

NIce flowe shot is a sea of many flowers this challenge. Well done. I may have cropped is a little more in at the obttom to make it a bit more symetical, but the shadow at the bottom also works

This is so pretty. I wish the flower were floating (to avoid the shadows at the bottom. Nice tone and focus.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure focus lighting all good, composition could be stronger.

Personal: I love the light from behind, and the colors are lovely. But I think a different composition could make this shot better- I'd prefer to see all the petals in full or for them all to be cropped evenly.

Beautiful, I like the way you cut off the top which makes it look different.

I would have liked this better if the petals on the left and right were not cut off and given a bit of background around them

Great shot
