wow, I think that is very powerful. I think it may be a tad dark, use those levels to bring some brightness into it and the impact would be much bigger. this really is great as is too though, I would love to see it printed 30 by 40!
great job |

Certainly lovely. Glad you had the guts to enter it too (not everyone would). Congrats on the Oobie. |

Great picture -- wrong challenge. This crowd is too literal -- they want those two lines converging in the distance. I love the feeling of vast space and the lowering sky. |

Had to come back to find out how this scored. So way under-rated! For what it's worth, my opinion hasn't changed from my earlier comment. Hope to see more of your work as is. |

way-underrated, as usual! this was one of the most creative entries, should have finished in the first page. |

I totally love the emptiness more than the vastness that jumps right out of the image here. It's that very tiny and lone figure that draws one in. Almost disturbing and very surreal. Don't know if that was the point of this photo but it's kept me fixated and to say the least, far from indifferent. I'm glad to see an image like this in DPC - instant 10 from me and good luck!!! |

Beautiful picture but it doesn't show a vanishing point that I can see. |

An intriguing and brave entry (given the pedantic nature of voters). I very much like it. |

DNMC...is that little cone at the horizon the vanishing point? OK, I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and bump you up one point. The lines on the ground are barely visible and don't appear to meet at the horizon. |

"The vanishing point is the appearance of a point on the horizon at which parallel lines converge together. Compose and photograph an interesting shot that illustrates this concept."
Unique shot, but doesn't meet the challenge objective. |

love the minimalistic feel to this image ... grain works really well ... however, I don't see a vanishing point here ... |

Ok, this is a beautiful shot. Really stunning. I have to decide if it meets the challenge... for now I'll decide it does and give you a 9. |
