This is one of my favorite shots, out of all the images I have taken at my cousins place, by the water, with its own jetty in Newport, Sydney.
This is a treasured item, saved from my cousins yacht, called the "Manly Ferry". The life saving ring was kept by my cousin, after he sold his yacht, after sailing it many times in the annual Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.
This is the last image I have processed, from my collection of black and white images, that I have taken around my cousins place in Newport.
This is my day 11 image, taken at the same time, at my cousins place, in Newport.

| Just going through your portfolio honey - thought I'd make some comments along the way - this really brings back memories...I used to live at Balgowlah, which is about 5km west of Manly. I used to catch a bus down to Manly Wharf every morning and catch the ferry to the quay. Lovely B&W conversion |

| lol. Love the centered composition. Still wondering what a manly ferry is hehe. Just to say it out loud without looking at the spelling is quite funny :D Great pic and I bet this photo would look pretty good hanging on a wall. |

How funny. Manly Ferry . . .I couldn't help think of the Oxymoron challenge we had :)
But its a nice photo :) The composition is clean and simple, but the tones are contrasted so well, And I love the slight grungy look to it!
