 Taken an hour ago in the public pool near my house. I took a lot of shots during practice of the local swimming team. Saturday is the only day the team is practicing under sun light. Practice hour 12:00 to 14:00. Not perfect lighting conditions for shooting, I know. The sun was to high and the light to harsh at the time, but it was the only chance i had to take some action shots.

First time i used a hand held light meter. I like the color and tension in this one but i know that swimming is not so popular as other action sports, so i don't expect much. I believe it will end up somewhere between 5.5 and 6.2

PP: Convert from RAW, levels, curves, crop, usm, add border, save for web.

I don't know what the rest of the photo looked like, but I wold have enjoyed seeing a bit more of the arms. Even so - it's an awesome shot.

The aquamarine color with white from the splashes is a very pleasing combo. That added to the intensity of the swimmer make for a good photo. Well done!

This is a classic swimming shot with great timing focus and exposure. Very well done. I'm going to guess this may be Skips entry. If its not please take that as a compliment.

Excellent swimming photo. The clarity of the photo is excellent. The colors are processed well and the use of a quick shutter speed to capture the moment really makes this shot stand out above the rest.

Could perhaps use some contrast? The crop is maybe a little tight for my taste. But very well done!
