Turning it sideways makes it more an image of symmetry than leaving it "normal" where it's just a landscape. The question is why did so many people find it necessary to turn their heads?

Why did you turn this sideways?

Interesting take on the challenge... I can't seem to decide if I like it or not...

I see a face with bigggg eyes :)
Perhaps boosting midrange levels a bit would help bring this out stronger and help counteract the natural reaction of tipping the head to see it as the mind knows it nature created it?

i'll admit i turned my head at first to look at this...but I really like the way the symmetry and lines are this way

The sky seems to be a little overexposed/burnt.
You should try to underexpose a bit in those cases.

Great to see this creative twist on the 'lake reflection theme'. I wonder what would happen if it would be allowed to change the color balance and hue of the right side only... :) -7-

rotation doesn't make sense to me

I actually like this angle. Very different but it really suits the challenge, imo.

Yep and thats exactly how I held my head to look at it. The beauty is lost on its side for me.
