 Small fish tank with purple tissue paper for a background. Took a new fish tank hose and blew into it while snapping photos. Used a small mag-light to add some highlights on the emerging bubbles and also used the on-camera flash. The mag-light seemed to add some weird fiery effects I didn't expect but like.

In Photoshop I cropped, adjusted levels, curves, ran NN and played with color adjustments using Hue/sat, color balance and selective color.

Another off-the-wall image...

I needed to enter a DPC challenge after some personal challenges rewrote my life. Sure puts things in perspective.

It would be nice to do well, but there are many other challenges to participate in at DPC. :)

This is just so awesome, and my favorite color as well, "PURPLE"..... What a clever idea here, and done so well.
Very abstract, but I love abstracts.....

Those bubbles aren't in water, are they? It looks like something thicker, almost a gel. I'm very curious.

I really love this photo. The different shades of purple blends smoothly with the graceful shape of the escaping bubbles. The top bubble looks like Darth Vader or Chewbacca. The composition is very nice also. The crisp focus make the bubbles look solid. The red glint adds interest and draws your eye to the bubbles. The tube blends with graceful ease into the bottom bubble which makes them look as one. Hope this does well.
