Looks like you and the new lens are going to get on just fine...once you get the flash back ;o) Very nice shot, well composed and I great detail especially in the wing....looking forward to more of these up close and personal shots from you now your fully equipped ;o)

Wow ... without the wings (and if it was brown) it would look just like a buffalo, what a pose. I wonder if a bit more sharpening might make this colorful image just that much more.
