| Greetings from the Critique Club: to begin with, this image obviously fit the challenge...it conjures up a smell, and a strong one at that. The image itself has some problems. To begin with I believe you have moved in too closely on your subject and lost focus. The overall color is quite drab and the shadows/reflections/noise on the curled back lid are very distracting. You might like to try the shot with some different lighting so that your image is cleaner/clearer and the overall effect more exciting. Better light would reduce many of the problems. |

yuck, I\'m glad breakfast is still a few hours away...
This image is plagued by some focus issues, it might have helped to sharpen it. I like your composition and lighting is good. |

| Yes, stinky indeed. The picture is out of focus, though, and a bit dull--I would have liked this a lot with crisp detail and better lighting. |

| focus, focus, focus - Try manual focus if you have one, if not try pulling the camera back and zoom in (using tripod) |
