Grüße von der Kritik-Verein
I have a feeling one of the reasons for this being voted so low is it's revelance to the topic. I also am going to make an assumption that it may be a language or cultural issue also.
The majority of voters on this site are US based, and in the US ducks are not usually thought of as being associated with a smell or aroma, unless you live on a farm and have to clean up after them!
I can say, (having lived on a farm) that this would be a sweet smelling duck!
But, back to the image.
It is a good image. There are some bright white dots. Could those be dead pixels, or dust on your lense? After challenge editing with the clone tool can remove them
The composition is generally very good. A little tight on the crop to the right. A bit more space there would help. But you may not have had that option if the duck was moving.
Nice capture of the colours in his head. Plays well against the dark water. Capturing his foot is also a nice addition, that little bit of colour showing in the water.
Willkommen zum Aufstellungsort, und gutes Glück zukünftig.
JC

Good photo of a mallard, hard to think of scents or aromas when looking at this. |

I'm not sure how this fits the challenge at all. If you can email me I'll adjust your score accordingly. Not a bad shot, btw. |

Tail is chopped off. Too dark. Where is the smell? |

Personally I don't think ducks smell sweet. The gray of the water makes a great backdrop to the colors of the duck, esp the green. Doesn;t seem quite sharp tho'. |

Sweet duck? Not sure what ducks smell like. I don't understand the correlation between this image and the challenge. |

What in the WORLD does this have to do with Aroma? |

Nice photo of a duck, but I don't get the connection to scent or aroma other than a word in the title. |
