One of my first studio shots. Just some coffee and a teabag on a mirror, only one spot was used.

Cropped, levels, contrast, sharpen and resize in PS.

Nice set up but I think the reflection is distracting. I would have liked it much more on a non reflective surface

Despite the fact that i like reflections, however, in this case it could have been done better. In my opinion, the double reflection here distracts more than enhance the image.

Nice setup, good clean background, nice reflections. Well done. I gave this an 8.

I think this would have been better without the reflective base. It makes it really blurry to me. Would have been a great shot, otherwise.

I'm not sure about the multiple reflections. They are very interesting and take my attention away from all the rest.

Nice contrast of textures.

I like the setup and lighting here, but I feel that there are a couple of reflections to many in the mirror below it. That gives it a bit of a fuzzy, unsharp feeling. One reflection would be good, now there seems to be movement in a unmoving scene. But that's just my feeling about this.

Good job on the color and toning, it might benefit from a slightly narrower aperture.

I can smell the coffee for sure....image could maybe be a bit brighter. The mirror works well for the tea but seems less effective for the coffee. Good idea.

Coffee. If you buy a piece of plexi glass you can get the same type of reflections without the doubles. The multiple reflections created by the mirror(?), cause this picture to "seem" to be out of focus. I can see that it isn't actually out of focus. You only have 5 seconds for someone to yes or no to your picture. Why make it easy for them to say no? Anyway, that's my opinion.

Like the format - just a tad sharper and you've got an excellent image

The reflections in the mirror keep distracting me. Maybe it's the double reflection that's doing it.

Reflection causes a little doubling or blur. Nice idea and nice lighting

Nice setup. Increased DOF to have the full composition all in focus would work well here.

I think the stuff-on-mirror or glass idea in this case wasn't a terribly good idea. One reflection can add to a picture, but this is just too messy. Nice colours and composition though. (6)

Like it. The black background and reflection works very well.

Good.
