Gotta love that clock! Photographic excesses excused to get that Dali look. |

Suitably surreal in composition. It does look a bit like the clock/branch was superimposed on the background; not sure if that was the intent but I would like it better if it all seemed to be once scene with the oddly melted/folded clock. |

Too contrived and contrasty. |

I think this photo is good. It's very vibrant and a good mimic of that painting. |

Love this picture. Of course I am a huge Dali fan, so that had some influence to it, but nice composition and color. |

Interesting use of surrealism. I hope you'll explain how it was done after the challenge ends. Or enter a tutorial. |

I like the idea, but it looks as if you took the picture with a monitor in the background. Would have been nice to use the actual beach, which I acknowledge is difficult in a speed challenge. |

the background is way over saturated and it's somewhat obvious that the clock is made of paper. good attemept anyways |

Very good. I was considering a very similar shot. Your background colors are terrific. Looks like maybe a canvas texture applied here? On first glance, it kind of looks like noise. In a surreal scene like this, you could probably lean pretty heavily on the noise reduction and make it glossy instead, if you wanted to. Anyway, nice going. I want to believe :) |

I tried to do that and wasn't successful. The background doesn't "match" the foreground if that makes sense. I'd tone down the vivid blues and orange of the rock a bit. |
