| Love the expression on the face. The glasses add a lot to the photo both compositionally and giving more interest. The color palette is amazing as there is nothing that conflicts. I like how the child is surrounded by adults. Cute photo. Should have scored higher! |

| Got to agree with Bob and skewsme, it's a beautiful shot of the little girl. With a street in the background, this would have scored a LOT higher. |

| Kelli, this is a fantastic shot of the little girl. The focus is great and the expression is fantastic. I think they got you because it doesn't show a street scene. |

| This is a cute picture but you are not giving me any idea about how this was taken candidly on a street. It looks like a photo of a child's friend as opposed to someone you may not even know. |

| ok i dont think this would be a street photo, even further a DNMC. this really looks like a family snap. the title is not conveyed enough as you can not make out the people around the little girl. there really is very little here for me thats states this is a "street photo" sorry |

| A much wider perspective, taking more of the scene would help this in terms of the challenge. As it is, the photo doesn't say to me 'street' or similar environment - it could have been taken in a cloakroom for all I know! That said, it is a pleasing portrait of the little girl and you have captured her eyes and smile very nicely. |

What Giants? All I see is a pink and green bg.
This is a cute portrait. Lovely child. However, I am not convinced that this is a street photo. I am not saying DNMC, but, for all the image shows is that this could of been taken in the front porch of some igloo.
Good comp, nice color, nice lighting but the color temp is mixed from your flash and the tungsten light. Mixing color temp isn't nessisarilly (sp) bad, because of the imperfect world we live in. The heavy shadow under her chin is not desireable. Nice portraiture. Texture ok. No eye movement.
Keep going, try again. |

| a very nice image with good colors and sharp focus...love them eyes but the title means nothing to me since you can't really see the giants. I understand that the background is the giants but in this type of photography I expected to see more people with maybe a focus on her. I think it would have added a lot more impact and really brought home your title. |
