Yes they do! This shot does not capture my attention for long though - it's a bit too flat and harshly lit. It looks like you've used flash which has removed any atmosphere and textures. Focus is a touch soft on the acorn too. |

Beautiful colors and textures, along with a good interpretation of the question. |

Straightforward macro revealing sufficient clear detail to sustain a longer interest than one required to view most competing entries. :-)
Even though the lighting appears lighter than necessary to do the job, and the depth of field is large enough to deliver good focus throughout, I feel, the image could have benefitted from a selective emphasis.
Despite this and, perhaps, because of the apparent honesty of manner, the photo remains one of my chosen top three for the challenge. |

Many comments on this photo.
I like the idea. I think you could have done a lot more with it.
The colors seem flat, perhaps because you used flash?
I think if you had spent a little more time setting this up the result would have been profound.
This is a very loose literalism. I am sure you have seen the other examples within the challenge.
Keep up the good work. Your composition is good. I do like how the acorn is off centered right |

Too much similar colors, it all blends in together. The acorn doesn't really appear tiny either. Maybe setting it next to the trund of an oak would help. |

There is some nice detail here, but yo could have gotten more with better lighting. Light from the sides would create some nice depth, and not wash out the colors so much |

The only problem I see or really can't see is any texture. The flash too the shadows out so evetything appears flattened. Adding some contrast may help. The idea is nice though. |

Good picture. The composition is good, you have managed to capture the subtle tones of the leaves and acorn and a good literalism. |

Very good idea for the challenge, good composition and detail also. I think the lighting is what's letting this show down. Bit too bright. |
