Oranges, oranges, oranges. Beautiful Light, Wonderful Lines, Great Textures! I actually like this composition quite a bit. It has nearly everything that I personal like in a photo.

I am guessing for the reasons for the lower score:
1) probably a couple of more passes through Unsharp Mask would have greatly helped
2) While a beautiful picture, I think many people have seen this "type" of picture before

If I would have voted in the challenge, I would have given it a 7 or 8. Oh well, highly underrated.

Susan, I love the lighting here, really good idea. I think you got hurt because the oranges aren't quite in focus, and DPC is very unforgiving in that area in general. Not sure if you used a tripod, but if not, almost impossible to get sharp focus handheld at 1/4.

This was a supurb idea. I think it should have been a little sharper but this was composed very well.
