Susan, I really like the perspective on this. Even though the boots are a prop in the barn, the photo gives a sense of animation, as if someone were wearing them. I think it's the slight scuffing on the heels that provides that illusion- the boots look like they're being lifted off the ground. Very cool.
I think you scored lower than you would have in a different challenge - I had trouble figuring out how spurs related to "good" and I suspect other people did as well.
One suggestion would be to add a warming filter. There is a cool cast that may not be intentional.
Overall, great job, and again, wonderful perspective. Hope to see more shots like this from you!

this image is kind of fuzzy and i don't get the meaning behind it!

the black in the boot does not have the richness that I would like to see.

too bright. you should have been able to darken that during lighting

Seems very flat, could do with alot of 'punch' putting into it, more contrast for a start.

The technical aspect is fair. The lighting on the first boot reflect a lot of the flash and the second is kind of dark. I'm not sure about the composition. I don't see "good" in it. It's just a pair of boots.

cloudy... maybe darker, more contrast?

A little to overexposed and I am not sure how this relates to the challenge. Interesting angle though, definitely not an ordinary perspective.

Good? I don't think this meets the challenge.

Spurs? Good? Huh? Sorry. This doesn't meet the challenge to me. And I am REALLY trying to stretch to find a connection.

Nice shot but not enough contrast

Needs a little "curves" adjustment for some contrast and deeper black. Question - what about this says "good"??

seems to have a little bit of a gray cast to it, might help to be a little sharper image.

Seems too overexposed. Also not really sure of the connection to "good".

Why is this good?
